Wrapping Up 2025 with a Series of Events

Posted on December 24, 2025

Wrapping up 2025, where should I begin? “The Time Testing Tale Told, fourth print (alternative expo print)” is officially sold-out. 13th Street Coffee Company went out of business. When I showed up on the last day they were open, to pick up my last 3 books, I found out that they sold them in bulk to Half Price Books in Omaha. I did not get a pay-out but they did agree to distribute the books for me to the bookstore, so I am okay with the final sales of my print. Done. The series is SOLD OUT.

Where else did I go, what else did I do? Metro College did a wonderful collaboration with the Omaha Tribe. Elaborate ceremonial/ethnic pieces adorned native dancers that used a circular dance to celebrate their culture and way of life. Native American tacos and kettle corn were sold and sharing this experience with my son was an eye-opening experience. I am Chamarro-American (Guamian) and to see Western Hegemony in myself as I walked the event was startling and an important lesson. To know enough is always my goal as a person and I do not know enough of the Omaha people to elaborate further. I can only offer my praise of knowing more, which is the ideal I strive for.

Moving further on in the year, the Christmas tree at Union Station is enormous and beautiful. I walked the train station/museum with my son and absorbed the different levels. Various regional groups contributed a tree encased in glass on the upper level of the station and walking the hallway was fascinating in terms of grouping people with plausible interests in Christmas. Each tree was unique and different, which made the hallway a fascinating experience in understanding Omaha. The train cars downstairs where well-built time capsules and we walked each and tried out the implied lifestyle within. The Durham (museum) was rich with points of interest and my family and me will likely choose it in the future for enrichment.

KETV 104.5 did an integrated event to event trolly ride for the holidays aboard “Olly the Trolly.” The Joslyn connected the Children’s Museum aboard an antique trolly ride that included downtown Omaha. Music was included, at 11am, on the second floor of the Joslyn and the youth performers transcended the confusion of the holidays with the holiday spirit and instrumentation that filled the museum. My son lost me in the Children’s Museum so we ended our event hopping there but this was a top-notch experience for me and my family.

Now that “The Time Testing Tale Told, book 1,” is sold-out, I will be moving forward “The Sepulture’s Destruction, issue 1, (Northridge Print)” as the new print I am working on. Shyloe Day: Reporter in Ghost Town will likely be moved to “The Time Testing Tale Told, book 2,” for the first appearance panels of the character. Himlaum the Shaman will be moved to “Merc-Zero against Himloune the Shaman in The Sepulture’s Destruction, issue 2,” where he will be tasked with protecting Himloune from RIP Nick: Merc-Zero’s Next in Charge! Himlaum will have only his in-cantorial Rainbow Sword to fight off RIP Nick, who can Kick Down Any Door!

“I, Himlaum, make his Rainbow Sword!” That is my wrap-up for 2025.

Keep an eye out for this one: “Two Plays, On Revenge and History.” This will be Brandon’s second book to have been published; this one is published by the very prestigious Page Publishing. Keep an eye out for the release date on this one, some time this fall, maybe winter. Thereabouts.
