A Letter of Protest: Do They Have a Shield?

Posted on January 9, 2022

Hello Dear Readers,

Recent protests from Denmark to Khazakhstan inspired the titled question for this post: Do they have a shield? Protestors in Denmark, such as “Men in Black,” have shown great courage and resilience by taking to the streets in force through lawful circumstances. Strong signage, according to what can be glossed from second-hand reporting, shows a people with a sense of purpose through ideas such as protesting through a shield. Law enforcement has backed these groups publicly and the message that I hear from them is loud and clear: “I can tell my own story through government!” This is NOT a war, this is a struggle over history. Over who gets to pass on knowledge for generations to come. And furthermore, is the knowledge credible or is it misinformation that ill-gotten figures (who are oftentimes government agencies) would rather have passed on instead of history. Such as centuries old propaganda and regional myths with which the people are to determine not only history but right and wrong as well.

Now the protestors in Khazakhstan do not seem to have a shield. They are openly redefined by reporters, law enforcement, and state officials as either terrorists or criminals (even murderers); There also seems to be a mounting body count, which could mean anything in terms of motives. Maybe the people were scared or confused over what they were seeing in the streets (perhaps pandemic urgency) and they started fighting, even killing people.

You can say what you like about right and wrong through unofficial signage and store clerks enforcing rules without a role recognized by the public, but my question now is offered to YOU: would you relent to a person who is not empowered by a shield? Geeze, last time I checked, an officer of the law can use their voice (or a voice command) from behind a shield for a person to put on their mask. The clerk at the grocery store in not an official. Why isn’t law enforcement using their voice to clear things up? That’s a public mistruth. Law enforcements first tier of force is a voice command ending with deadly force if needed. I can only conclude that this entire charade, the urgency surrounding COVID-19; it is state-sponsored propaganda.

To be continued…just try and solve it all in a day my friends. The people in Khazakhstan are messing up but do you really think the fear that they might feel in the street is that unusual? I report everything. If you can’t report it to a cop, you probably shouldn’t do it because you will not have a shield if people start fighting. A shield usually means that you can rack up a steep body count. Do you really want to be on that side of history? An unarmed fighter can maybe get a few people; so why would anyone fight a cop without the law on their side through the public? Then you can do it. In conclusion my question remains ever-fixed: Do they have a shield through the public?

Sincerely,

Brandon Lund
